Develop3D Live 2014

Meet the HDR Light Studio team at Develop3D Live 2014

Once again Lightmap will be exhibiting at this year’s Develop3D Live event at Warwick Arts Centre, England, on the 15th April 2014. Meet us at Stand 20 in the Mead Gallery on the first floor. Each year this jam packed one day event gets bigger and better.

This event is local for Lightmap, less than an hour down the road, and is a great opportunity to meet our UK customers face to face and talk about all things lighting and rendering. Plus it’s a chance to show off our software and the latest live plug-ins in action. Since last year’s show we been very busy and increased our compatibility to now include: Bunkspeed, V-Ray for Rhino, MODO, LightWave 3D and Cinema 4D. So now HDR Light Studio works with all leading 3D visualization software.

Even if you are a 3D artist and not a product designer, then this ‘design and development’ focused show will still provide lots of really interesting talks and exhibitors to see. For example, you can find out lots on 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies… something more and more 3D artists are getting involved with now, or should be!

The exhibitors you may be interested in seeing that are related to Rendering/Vizualisation are:
Autodesk, Chaos Group, Lagoa, Lightworks, Luxion, The Foundry and Caustic Graphics.

We can’t wait to see the key note by Daniel Simon:

Daniel Simon - Develop3D 2014

Daniel is an industrial designer turned concept designer. He came to fame when he produced a book full of futuristic concept vehicle designs that he beautifully modelled in Alias and rendered to perfection. The book is called ‘Cosmic Motors’ (Check it out here: https://danielsimon.com/) and is a must have for anyone interested in design vizualisation. He has progressed to become one of the most in demand concept designers around, working on movies like Tron Legacy, Oblivion and Prometheus to name a few. It’s really amazing that he’s coming to this UK event and we can’t wait to see his presentation.

Even better…. he loves HDR Light Studio and uses it with Bunkspeed.
