Domeble Symetri Student Awards
Lightmap are proud sponsors of 'Best CGI Automotive Image' in the inaugural Domeble Symetri Student Awards.
All students entering the competition will be provided with a 50% discount, by the organizers, for an educational license of HDR Light Studio.
3 winners will receive:
- One to one training for HDR Light Studio by our Co-founder.
- Free HDR Light Studio software for the rest of their studies.
- Post-graduation - 1 year HDR Light Studio - Automotive commercial license.
About the Competition:
The Domeble Symetri Student Awards is a competition for students of automotive 3D, 3D design, VR and CGI photography. Domeble and Symetri, two companies closely associated with cutting edge creative 3D visualisation and immersive technologies aimed at the automotive industry, have teamed up to offer students a unique opportunity to showcase their talents and win prizes such as internships, masterclasses, hardware, cash prizes, and ultimately a unique opportunity to get started on their career path.
The competition includes a wide range of award categories and is free to enter.
There's a distinguished judging panel of industry experts, including:

- Keith Jeffery - Head of Automotive Division at Taylor James
- Chris O’Connor - Head of Technical Development at Zerolight
- David Gover - Capture One
- Nick John - Industrial Design and Visualisation Manager at Symetri Europe
- Coline Thibaut - Product CG Artist at The Swatch Group
- Henry Morshead - Chief Designer at Hill Helicopters
- Ben Cordes - Design Visualisation Manager at Bentley Motors Ltd
