macOS Sequoia (version 15) breaks HDR Light Studio licensing

HDR Light Studio customers on macOS. Do not upgrade to the macOS Sequoia (version 15) public beta if you wish to continue to use HDR Light Studio.

Wi-Fi Privacy in macOS 15 assigns a randomized MAC address when connecting to a wireless network. This causes a MAC address mismatch with the HDR Light Studio license. This issue affects all node-locked licenses but not floating licenses, unless the RLM licensing software is running on a macOS machine updated to macOS 15.

macOS Sequoia (version 15) is officially released in the Fall/Autumn. A future HDR Light Studio and RLM Server software release will fix this issue by adding logic that detects the machine's true hardware MAC address to prevent the licensing from breaking.

But be warned: This issue affects all historical and current versions of HDR Light Studio. So, if you intend to use any of those builds moving forward, don't upgrade to macOS Sequoia (version 15). We cannot provide a license solution to enable HDR Light Studio if you do.

We learned this information this morning and wanted to inform you as soon as possible.
